‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been uninvited to his sister Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) wedding after digging deeper into Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past and even flying to New Jersey to do so.

He was the one that discovered Ashland was lying and holding something terrible back from everyone. That he stole his dead best friend’s identity after a car accident and fled into the woods. It was with this identity that he began a new life and escaped the clutches of his father.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Did Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) Do The Right Thing?

While it may seem like he did the right thing, his sister is absolutely furious with him and has even gone as far as uninviting him from the wedding. For doing the right thing, it seems like Nick is taking a lot of flack. Now, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is even saying it’s her fault for pushing him into going.

But… didn’t he do the right thing? Should his sister know that Ashland is not who he says he is. I can understand why she would be upset with everyone digging for information, but this definitely feels like something that should have been known before she marries the man.

Victoria is stubborn to boot, so it’s unlikely she’ll change her mind about uninviting him even after their mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) tried to persuade her that she was making a mistake.

I still think despite how annoying it is, that Nick did the right thing and he even wanted to just talk to Ashland about it first, but they were adamant about Victoria being there, unfortunately.

What do you think? Did Nick do the right thing and do you think Victoria will come around and invite him back to her wedding? Let us know in the comments below.
