‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tells that 2020 has been rough on all of us, but you could say Courtney Hope has been through the ringer, this year. She had to change jobs during a pandemic. Fortunately, it was to the same network’s sister soap, and she was playing the same exact character so it wasn’t all that much of a stretch.
However, the fact of the matter is, she still had to adjust to a new set, with new co-stars, and a brand new storyline, and while that does come with the territory of being a new actor, sometimes being the new girl is hard. Especially when your profession is, well, as public as hers is.

Hope often has really inspiring instagram posts that her followers are really fond of, but one can’t always be a fountain of wisdom for the masses, and sometimes one is just too busy for social media. Especially when one is in the middle of life-adjustments like career moves.
It’s just not feasiable to be an icon to your followers and be going through at the same time. Also, this is the holidays, and Hope may just be taking time to reflect about this year, and what all has gone on in her life, we only knew about the professional changes, but I’m sure like the rest of us, there are probably people in her family that Hope is missing and it’s hard not being able to actually go home for the holidays.
So, Courtney Hope has decided to take a break from social media. A lot of her followers are bummed about that because they like their daily dose of Courtney and let’s face it, IG posts (unless you’ve got a filter game going on like Deavan from 90 day fiance) don’t take that much effort.
But sometimes you just don’t feel like being public about your life, sometimes you just want to get away from it all and not check your phone notifcations, and maybe that’s what Courtney is doing. Her see you soon post said this:
“Thankful, grateful, blessed – all of the above. This year has been a rollercoaster but I am so appreciative of the people surrounding me and the blessings in my life. Thanks to everyone who has shown love and joined me on this journey of life.
With that said, I am going to take a much needed break from social media. If you need me, call or text me. See ya’ll soon! Stay safe, stay loving, stay curious.” and she signed it with the hashtag #BEHERENOW, so, I’m guessing she’s trying to be more present in her every day life and not as often online.
That’s okay, that’s fine. Especially if one has a family. We wish Courtney the best and happy holidays, or at least as happy as the holidays can be in 2020. Stay tuned!!!
