At one point, Amanda was ready to go visit Diego Hidalgo Virrueta (Luis Ernesto Franco), but Don Mateo told her to forget it. He claims Diego is responsible for the fire and he can’t let her go off with someone like that. Amanda wants evidence.
He claims he has it, but as far as we remember, that’s a lie. Circe and others also hit the place at the same time, and we think they’re the ones who did that. Either way, he’s grasping at straws if he thinks he’s keeping those kids. Or that they’ll trust him.

Meanwhile, there’s Diego and Victoria Lamas (Dulce María). They got closer in a recent episode, and they seem to be getting closer by the day. They had some interesting chemistry on Tuesday night and we just keep waiting for them to get over it and get together already. She even watched him sleeping as she flashed back on moments between them.

Meanwhile, the Fernanda Virrueta López (Sonya Smith) situation complicated things between Don Mateo and Ramona. She’s upset at finding him with Fernanda. As far as Circe’s concerned, she needs to drop this man already.
She thinks Ramona’s an accomplished, tough woman that shouldn’t be degrading herself like this. Ramona, however, is in love and they’ve already set a wedding date. Felipa Pérez (Gabriela Roel) thinks this is funny. Circe isn’t laughing. She believes he’s trash and the best thing for Ramona would be to get rid of him. Permanently.
Interestingly enough, there is a temptation for her. It seems one of the men behind Don Mateo thinks a change is in order. He wants Ramona to step in and take over the business. In fact, he’s interested in her in other ways, too.
She’ll have everything in her hands if she turns her back on what this man sees as a liability at this point. We’ll see what happens, because she’s very loyal to this guy for reasons we just don’t understand. For right now, she seems to think Don Mateo will be just fine—so long as Fernanda is out of the picture.

As for tonight’s episode, Falsa identidad spoilers reveal Diego is a softy for his mother. Obviously, he already risked a lot this season for her. But he’s about to do more now that Victoria is safe.
See, she’s worried about what her escape will mean for Alberto (Miguel Jiménez) and Guadalupe ‘Lupe’ Girón (Vicky Araico). So, Diego calls Don Mateo to take responsibility for the entire thing. Not only that, he claims he saved Salas after he was buried alive as well.
This will not go over well. Teases indicate Don Mateo makes a promise, and we can only assume this means he swears to destroy Diego in every way possible. And taking the kids from him will likely be priority one.
