‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that we haven’t seen Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) in Genoa City in a while. After Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) threw her under the bus, she decided to move to Miami to start a restaurant so she could be nearer to her family.
In actuality, Sasha Calle went to shoot “The Flash” after being cast as Supergirl! The transition from a daytime soap drama to the big screen in a DC movie was quite drastic, but it did happen. While the movie looks fairly cool and features Michael Keaton reprising his role as Batman, we have to wonder if Calle will return. We finally got our first look at her in the trailer during the Super Bowl.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Could We See Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) Return To Genoa City Soon?
There would be plenty for her to do if she went back to Genoa City. She had the option of returning to the kitchen at Society or starting her own eatery in Genoa City. Lord knows they need some additional meeting spaces!
In addition, given everything that Kyle and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) have been through recently, there may be a chance to share some stories there! If Lola came back, Kyle would probably think he could simply get back together with her or even cheat on Summer with her because he is so conceited and arrogant. Although we have heard that tale before, it would undoubtedly be an interesting one.
However, I believe that plot has already been presented to us. Another love conundrum, what’s that? Instead, she could not only change the dynamic of the show by choosing a new place, but she could also possibly meet someone new and begin her own fulfilling relationship.
Sadly, if she came back, there might also be a lot of suffering. Keep in mind that just last year, her sibling Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) was killed in a car accident. He was killed (OFF-SCREEN, I might add) when his vehicle collided with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), and we never saw or heard from him again.
