‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Conner Floyd has tied the knot with Carly Frei ahead of his Days of Our Lives debut as Chad DiMera on April 21st.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Floyd’s Parents Hosted a Welcome Party at Sunset Tower Hotel
His wedding on March 21st at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, was like a lavish soap opera wedding.
Floyd and his blushing bride, Frei, shared their big day with People magazine. The couple had an old-school theme for their nuptials.
The actor wanted all his friends and family to share his happiness. Conner is from Austin, Texas, and his wedding was a way for him to bring his loved ones together.
They kicked off the weekend with Floyd’s parents hosting a welcome party at the Sunset Tower Hotel. Floyd’s former Y&R co-star, Michael Graziadei, who plays Daniel Romalotti Jr., posted a picture of himself and Floyd on his Instagram account.
“The Graz,” as Conner calls him, wrote in the caption,
“It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark, and we’re wearing sunglasses…. HIT IT!”
Graziadei then said,
“Here is a nice shot of me and Conner Floyd trying to outcool each other.”
The picture was worth a thousand words.
The pair’s wedding was on Saturday. According to Soap Opera Digest,
“The Sunset Tower is less than a mile away from the since shuttered, The Den, where Floyd and Frei met for the first time on Valentine’s Day, 2020.”
Y&R fans know that Floyd’s character, Chance Chancellor, had a very tragic, but also quite ironic twist of fate when, in July 2025, he was shot and died in the arms of Cane Ashby, whom Billy Flynn plays.

Conner is taking over Billy’s former role on Days of Our Lives as Chad DiMera. In April, we’ll get to see what Floyd does with Chad and the new flavor he’ll bring to the iconic role.
Chad is often referred to as “The good DiMera,” and it’s going to be interesting to see how Chad will react when he learns how close his brother, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), is getting to his ex-girlfriend, Cat Greene (AnnaLynn McCord). The soapy storyline should provide viewers with some fireworks for months to come.
For the wedding, Frei wore a glamorous skirt, neck scarf, and veil, and a corset top. Floyd wore a classic tuxedo.
The newlyweds shared their first dance to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Now that they are hitched, the couple is enjoying their honeymoon in Bora Bora.
Floyd and Frei started dating in 2021, and Conner popped the question in December of that year. Floyd shared with People,
“The past five years that we have been together have truly been the best five years of our lives.”
He continued,
“To think that we get to spend a lifetime together from this moment on just makes both of us so excited for what the future has to offer.”
