‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers uncover that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) is doing her best to be a sounding board for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) as he confides in her about his family issues.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Claire Is More To Kyle Than Harrison’s Nanny
Kyle feels his relationship with Claire is easy, and he can tell her anything. She’s a good listener and is genuinely concerned for Kyle’s well-being.
They love playing with Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) and goofing around. Claire is great with Harrison, and the little boy truly trusts her.
But she’s more than just Harrison’s nanny. Claire has become important to Kyle. She is a comforting presence for him, and he feels safe with her. Kyle has told Claire numerous times that she gets him out of his head and makes him smile.
However, spoilers indicate that she’s about to see the connection between Kyle and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) on November 1st.
Claire may wonder if she’s getting too close to Kyle too fast. Kyle and Summer are co-parents who must co-exist peacefully in their son’s life.
But is that all there is to it? Kyle and Summer had a very strong bond when they were together. They broke up because Summer knew that Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) had faked her own death and said nothing while Kyle’s mom, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), took the fall for her murder.
The former couple may share a bonding moment over Harrison, and Claire may misinterpret the situation. Kyle could even console Summer over her brother, Daniel Romalotti‘s (Michael Graziadei) recent arrest and tell her that he knows Daniel is innocent.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Summer And Kyle May Be Too Close For Claire’s Comfort
Summer can’t cry on Chance Chancellor‘s (Conner Floyd) shoulder when it comes to what’s happening with Daniel. He’s the cop on the case, which must be hard on Summer.
In turn, Summer may also express her sympathy for Kyle over Diane. Not to mention his upset over his parents’ seemingly splitting up.
The two of them look too close for comfort as far as Claire is concerned. She could think it’s not really over between Kyle and Summer, and she may feel like she can’t compete with their connection.
The question is, will she confront Kyle over what she saw? Kyle and Claire’s relationship is fairly new, but they share a close friendship.
Claire and Kyle shared a kiss at Chancellor Park, and their friendship started to progress into romantic territory, and there was some flirting.
However, Kyle started to brag about his corporate conquests and how he got Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) fired from Glissade. Since Claire is an honest, caring person, she doesn’t understand that side of him.
If Claire wants to follow her heart with Kyle, they may need to discuss her misgivings about Kyle’s relationship with Summer and his behavior in his business dealings.
Kyle didn’t expect to fall for the “nice girl,” but Claire made it hard for him to resist. However, Claire may be too nice for Kyle in the end, which could spoil any chance for romance between them.
