‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) muses over going to the mental health unit to determine Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) level of reliability. Adam admits to feeling like an outsider, even in spite of his misgivings about bringing a criminal mental patient into the Newman household.
To be fair, before criticizing Claire, Adam should consider his own stay in a mental health facility. Adam would embrace Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) if he knows that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is willing to accept her viewpoint on Claire, but only after meeting with her to examine her and find out more about Jordan (Colleen Zenk).
The fear that Jordan would break out of prison and return to target the Newman clan is Adam’s main concern. Adam looks for answers for his peace of mind, unaware of Claire’s actual loyalty to Jordan. Playing the worried uncle might help Adam get a visit, even if he needs to be sneaky and do it behind Victoria’s back.

Adam might be able to determine whether Claire truly has cut her relationship with Jordan and is determined to keep her at away, rather than imprisoned, in person. The whole Newman family may gain from Claire asking Adam for a big favor as a result of this discovery.
Claire may beg Adam to set up a hit on Jordan, which would convince another prisoner to put her out of business forever. Claire may think of it as the only way to ensure Jordan won’t be a threat and that it’s the road to real independence.
But if Adam is found out to have hired the hitman, or if something goes wrong with the plot, things may get complicated. If the hired hitman fails and divulges the identify of his employer, Jordan could escalate her retaliation against Adam.
Regardless of the situation, Claire could implore Adam to destroy Jordan once and for all, releasing the Newman family from this evil man’s grasp.
