‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) new diagnosis of OCD is causing Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Clair Egan) a lot of stress. She places a lot of the responsibility on herself, and her recent breakdown following his therapist’s visit revealed a very weak side of her.
She is totally in favor of his going on a retreat since she wants nothing more than to support him in learning coping mechanisms for his illness; however, Connor is vehemently against. Will the little lad be running for the hills because of her persistence?
Once the retreat concept was shared with Connor, he was able to have a pleasant conversation with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Adam politely reassured the small child, who appeared to be extremely emphatic about not wanting to attend, that he wasn’t required to do anything. Adam was correct to choose this strategy.

Connor might not be open to the therapy even if they try to force him, which would be a disastrous outcome. He will, after all, oppose the notion much more if he feels under pressure.
In this circumstance, Connor could feel a stronger bond with his father. He could even decide he wants to move back to Genoa City to live with Adam after graduating from the school he is now attending.
Chelsea may experience a depressive episode due to her overwhelming sense of helplessness in this scenario, a state she believed she would never recover from.
Though things might get out of hand soon and he can’t be Chelsea’s only source of support all the time, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will do all in his power to help his girlfriend. However, to what extent may Chelsea’s depression worsen? Is Connor going to choose to remove Chelsea out of his life?
