‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the relationship between Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has been moving fast… maybe a little too fast.
Remember, it wasn’t long ago that Chelsea was standing on the edge of a building ready to jump, and while Billy has been very supportive of her after the fact, is this really the best thing for them?
There were obviously feelings before all of this happened as Chelsea had kissed him in the podcast booth once and they tried to play it off like it wasn’t a big deal, but with Chelsea still in a vulnerable place, is moving deeper into a relationship really the best call and shouldn’t Billy understand where she is?
He’s hit rock bottom before as well, and while they may make a good couple, things look to be moving too fast.

There is definitely a lot more on the way for the two of them, and with Egan pregnant in real-life, we have to wonder if this will factor into the storyline at all.
Could they do a pregnancy storyline as she is still recovering and could Billy and Chelsea have another child? There have been a lot of babies lately it feels like, and this would just be another to add to the list.
If I were Billy and Chelsea, I would slow things down a bit and make sure that Chelsea is getting fully recovered before making any big decisions like being with Billy. Be on the lookout for their relationship to go to the next level, but also be prepared for when Egan leaves on maternity leave.
They will need to figure out a storyline to explain her disappearance, and maybe it will be as simple as her going to visit her mom for a while or something.
I’m not sure this is the best thing they could be doing, but, to each their own. It will be sure to create a lot of drama, and what do we want at the end of the day if not drama?
