There’s no better way to kick off a new week than with some great family drama, and thanks to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set to kick things off with a huge tub of popcorn.
There’s always a conflict or complication when dealing with Victor, and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) doesn’t like the situation she now finds herself and will look for a way out of it.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 28: Not backing down
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is intent on claiming what’s his, and he’s going to let Victor know in no uncertain terms that he wants the Newman Media CEO position.
Victor will balk at it and accuse Adam of stirring up trouble even after he got the merger he wants. They’ll go back and forth before Adam lays out everything he wants including Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
It’ll give Victor something to think about since he’s been thinking of mentoring Audra and he agrees with Nate. This would mean he’ll be choosing outsiders over his son, and that goes against everything Victor touts for his family.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 28: Nikki’s two cents
After Adam leaves, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will inquire as to what that was about, and then offer her two cents.
She’ll point out if Adam is make the CEO, then Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon will answer to him and that’ll create more tension.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect her counter idea will be just as bad since she’ll float the idea that Nick and Sharon should be put in charge with Adam answering to them.
We think she’s trying to show Victor how ridiculous things have become because of his plan. Of course, in Nikki’s mind she could be thinking of ways to force Adam to leave and that’s one way to do it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For August 28: An escape route
Sharon’s not taking any of this laying down as she’s going to be searching for a legal way to get out of the merger.
That’ll be tough since Nick will point out the paperwork was already filed and the merger is close to being done. This doesn’t mean she’ll give up, but it’ll be an uphill fight for sure.
There are plenty of ways this could go and we’re looking forward to seeing what direction the writers take things.
