‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is not being truthful with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). What will Abby think when she finds out that her mother has lied to her and is still consumed by hatred for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Intense Battle
Abby has been distressed by the war between Ashley and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and how it is tearing the family apart. Ashley hates Diane and is very upset that her brother has fallen in love with her. Jack has forgiven Diane and has just married her. He has also given her a position at Jabot as Chief Talent Officer.
Ashley believes that Diane is going to destroy Jabot and is going to break her brother’s heart. She wants to do whatever she can to stop her. So far, things haven’t gone well for Ashley in her war with her brother.
She tried to convince the board to remove Jack as CEO of Jabot. Then she threatened to leave Jabot and start her own company, taking her patents and products.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: All Her Mother
Abby thought that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) was responsible for stirring up this battle. But she has begun to see that it is her mother at the heart of it all. The fighting and bickering are causing everyone distress.
There doesn’t seem to be a way to compromise, because Ashley doesn’t want Diane anywhere around and Jack won’t let Diane go anywhere.
Ashley has realized that her attitude is causing a rift between her and Abby. Abby is furious at her mother and Ashley tries to placate her. She promises to not continue this battle, but to just be “hands off’.
But in reality, Ashley has not stopped her war against Diane and Jack. She has just decided to enlist her brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to fight against Jack and Diane. She also convinces Abby to try to help her make peace with Jack.
Ashley has not been honest with Abby. When Abby finds out that Ashley is still fighting Jack and is using Abby for her own purposes, what is her response going to be?
