‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers are ready for some more parallel dimension type of storytelling that’s hard to make sense of, but there are a couple of bright spots.
While things are in flux and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s “death” are the current driving force, we’re willing to give it a chance, so let’s dive in.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 4: Remembering the past
Nothing says the new storyline needs support than having a favorite couple reminisce about their own turbulent past as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will take a trip down memory lane.
This will be a pretty cool scene that will probably have plenty of flashbacks to show how topsy turvy things could be for them.
Not that we’re surprised since nothing with the Newmans is simple, and Sharon has made her way through the elder Newman men over the years.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 4: Plot twist
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) have had no problem moving on from their past relationships, and while those are in the dust they’re looking toward the future.
While it looks like this is being billed as some earth shattering decision, in reality, it’s Abby letting go of her Chancellor past and moving in with Devon.
It’ll be good for her to get out of the mansion where there are so many memories reminding her of what she had, and into a new place where she can create fresh memories.
Though it could be interesting given Devon’s ghosts of the past in the penthouse, but she seems fine with it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For April 4: Daniel’s through
In Jeremy Stark (James Hyde)’s attempt to make Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) look like she had a hand in killing Phyllis, he also has managed to turn just about everyone even more against him.
Sure, Phyllis’ death is most likely staged as a payback to Diane, but how long will she be gone for? To pull this off she can’t ever come back to Genoa City.
Or she could just walk in after Diane’s arrested and call out “April Fools!”
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers wouldn’t be surprised if Stark ended up betraying Phyllis and really had her killed to ensure his revenge on Diane. Afterall, what would be better than her going to prison for twenty plus years?
However the writers are going to spin this dumpster fire of laziness, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) won’t care as he’ll lash out at Stark for claiming to be married to Phyllis and possibly having her killed.
