‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) confronted Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) after the truth came out and brought up Harrison. Ashland gave up Harrison in his pursuit of getting Newman Enterprises, but rather it looks like Adam hit the nail on the head.
Ashland didn’t so much ‘give him up’ as he did move him away from Genoa City to avoid anyone getting to him and using him as leverage against Ashland. Adam knows that there’s nothing more in the world that Ashland cares about more than Harrison, and that’s exactly where the Newmans need to hit Locke to win this.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) Threatens Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) While Also Plotting His Way Into Newman Enterprises
While Ashland may put up a front like he doesn’t really care about anything and he’s made of ice, Adam saw through that in an instant. So much so, that it caused Ashland to leave. While at first it looked like Adam was genuinely looking out for his sister, we know now that he wants to use this opportunity to become CEO of Newman Enterprises and replace his sister who he says ‘can’t be trusted’.
Meanwhile, it seems everyone’s first concern is Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Adam has other plans, and with the help from Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), may actually be able to achieve it. It also looks like there’s going to be another wrench thrown into this story as it’s been confirmed that Michael Mealor (Kyle Abbott) will be rejoining the show, and as it would be weird for him to come back to Genoa City without his family… That means Harrison will no longer be across the ocean and things may get dirty. They will use Harrison against Ashland to force him to leave.
