‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has officially “ended” things between he and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). During a video chat, Chelsea explained that she wanted to get together with Adam and Connor Newman, just the three of them and do all this stuff, but Adam was quick to point out that they should take it slow. One step at a time.

Chelsea agreed but you could tell it hurt a bit. She then asked, “things are never going to be the same are they?” Unfortunately, Adam had to explain to her that things had gone too far and that they need to move forward in their lives, alone.

Of course, they’ll always be a parent to Connor and nothing will ever change that but as far as them being together again, it’s not going to happen.

This leads to further theories that Adam will potentially end up having an affair with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) or start dating Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

I think there was a chance before, but after hearing Adam talk about how he’s turning his life around the last week, it’s been really eye opening, and unless there’s some unbearable moment with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), I think Adam is going to stay on the straight and narrow.

Unfortunately this does seem like the end of an era, as Chadam was a huge part of the show for so long. Sure there’s always a chance that they could get back together in the future, but at the moment, Adam has made the right choice. I love this new Adam.
