To put it simply, Connor has been giving Chelsea hell and that’s why she’s recently decided to make a few changes in their lives.

‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers indicate that Adam and Chelsea are back together again, but only for Connor’s sake. There’s nothing romantic between them. Seeing how much Connor needs his father in his life, Chelsea is trying to make the right decision for the young boy.
But here’s the thing: is Adam even a good influence on his own son? After all, he’s not what you would call a model citizen. Even Adam knows that little Connor is watching him and that there’s no doubt he is perhaps even emulating some of his moves. This has Adam very worried, as the last thing he wants to see is Connor grow up to be someone who might fake his own death. Needless to say, it’s something that runs in the Newman family, seeing how both Adam and Victor Newman (Eric Braden) have done it in the past.
