The Young and the Restless Adam and Victor

‘The Young and the Restless'(Y&R) Spoilers: indicate that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is looking to extend an olive branch to his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Could this mean that Adam has finally changed his way? Maybe. Read on for all of the latest spoilers.

Adam and Victor have never had a very good father and son relationship, despite the fact that they are very similar. Yet ‘Young and the Restless'(Y&R) spoilers do tease that Victor is looking out for his family and that he is none too pleased that Chelsea is moving on with Adam. This is after she just broke up with his other son, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), too.

‘The Young and the Restless'(Y&R) Spoilers: Adam Extends An Olive Branch To His Father Victor

‘Young and the Restless'(Y&R) co-executive and head writer Josh Griffith puts it this way to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “Victor cautions Adam to be careful that Chelsea isn’t using him for backup. It does not sit well with Victor that there has been rapid change in father figures for Connor over the past year.”

And even though Adam is none too pleased with his father’s tirade, he refocuses on the purpose of his visit. That of course is his son Connor. After all, Adam knows what it feels like to be the outsider of the family. He also sees that Connor has been making real progress with Victor and that’s why he doesn’t want thing to escalate any more than they already have. The two men do have a common goal and that’s to protect Connor.

However, this rather fragile peace accord might be the tipping point for the Newman family. With Adam and Chelsea’s history and their already volatile relationship, trouble is already around the corner. Needless to say, ‘Young and the Restless'(Y&R) fans will have to tune in for all of the action!
