Abby Newman will soon find herself very excited about her first date with the handsome new face in town, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Melissa Ordway, who plays Abby on the hit CBS soap, tells Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “She’s really crushing on him. As soon as he got into town, she wanted to be close to him. She’s been like, ‘ Oh, do you want to get a drink?’ ‘You can stay at my hotel for free. Whatever you need.’

‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers indicate that while at dinner, Abby and Chance will get to bond once they start talking about their families. And as viewers can imagine, they certainly have a lot to talk about as they have plenty of similar experiences.
What makes this relationship a little different than ones in the past is that Abby is not the same girl that she used to be before. Instead, she’s matured and she has a different outlook on life. Melissa further explains, “They talk about everything that comes along with being part of the Abbotts, Newmans, and Chancellors, and really connect. They definitely have a lot in common. She does say how a guy like him would’ve never been interested in the old Abby.”
