The UK believes that Prince Harry is having a very public mental breakdown. This comes after the Duke of Sussex revealed in the new Apple Plus series, The Me You Can’t See, that he turned to alcohol and drugs to cope with the death of his mother, Princess Diana.
He also said that his father Prince Charles lacked any good parenting skills and told Harry as a child that he has to suffer because he did, too. Here’s what you need to know.

The UK Thinks Prince Harry Is Having A Very Public Mental Breakdown
“Every time I put a suit on and tie on … having to do the role, and go, ‘right, game face’, look in the mirror and say, ‘let’s go’. Before I even left the house I was pouring with sweat. I was in fight or flight mode,” Harry said, adding, “I was willing to drink, I was willing to take drugs, I was willing to try and do the things that made me feel less like I was feeling.”
Royal critic and reporter Angela Levin, who has often spoken out against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and especially in recent weeks, tweeted on Friday morning, “I felt watching Harry during his therapy session was a huge invasion of his privacy. Extraordinary that he allowed that to happen.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for both royal fans and critics alike to weigh in on the matter too with a lot of people believing that Prince Harry might indeed be having a mental breakdown in public.
Some comments included, “It’s agonizing! I can’t believe he said MM told him how she would kill herself and then said, no, your mom died, so I won’t. As OW would say, “WHAAAAT”? I mean really, that is a control function if I ever saw!” along with, “Oddly we hear nothing about the therapy that Meghan must have since had for feeling suicidal during pregnancy. You’d have thought that they’d want to share what they had learnt for people struggling in a similar position, especially as she is currently pregnant.”
Another critic wrote, “Harry is having a very public breakdown which is becoming increasingly uncomfortable to see. He no longer has people around him to look out for his best interests. He has surrounded himself with sharks who want to manipulate him for their own gain.”
So far Prince Harry has not responded to any of the criticism, but at this point, it’s doubtful that he will.
