You know it’s really bad between you and your family members when they fail to celebrate your birthday or anniversary on social media and that’s exactly what the royal family did when they completely snubbed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their third anniversary.
In fact, there are probably some members of the family that wish that day never had happened. Here’s what you need to know.
Even though the royals make it a tradition of sorts to wish other members of the firm a ‘happy birthday’ or ‘happy anniversary’ on their official social media accounts, they pretended that May 19th – which is the day of Harry and Meghan’s wedding anniversary – is just another day on the calendar.

Instead, the royals celebrated another exciting announcement – Princess Beatrice’s pregnancy. In fact, some sources behind the scenes say that Princess Beatrice, who is expecting her first child with her husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi, deliberately announced her pregnancy on the same day as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s anniversary.
According to Page Six, highly placed source speculated of Beatrice’s announcement: “It was a total dig at Harry and Meghan. They stole Eugenie’s thunder on her big day, after all, and it appears that has not been forgotten.”
If that weren’t enough, Robert Jobson, author of Prince Philip’s Century, added, “In life, timing is everything. And it seems that after Harry and Meghan stole the headlines and world attention by announcing that Meghan was pregnant with Harry, taking the limelight away from Princess Beatrice’s wedding, that she didn’t forget.”
“Announcing her own pregnancy on the Sussexes third wedding anniversary may have been a coincidence, but I don’t think so. What goes around comes around.”
