Themba Gorimbo’s days of tirelessly living in the gym have come to an end, all thanks to a heartwarming gesture from his idol, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Last week, the movie superstar and WWE legend surprised Themba during an emotional meetup at his gym. This meeting was the result of a promise made by The Rock after learning about Themba’s incredible story of fighting with only 7 dollars to his name.
However, their encounter at the gym was only the beginning of a truly special time together. The Rock had a surprise planned for Themba, and he wasn’t wearing it on his sleeve. He told Themba they were going to meet his friend, Jay, at his apartment in Miami. But upon arriving at the place, Themba soon realized that there was no “Jay.”

To his astonishment, Themba discovered that he was standing inside his very own new apartment! The walls adorned with framed family photos, the place was now his own home, a gift from his hero, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Johnson told him, “I was so moved by your story. When I found out you were sleeping on the couch in the gym … now there’s no more couch sleeping. This is your house. Welcome home! Now you can bring your kids here, man, your family. This place is yours. You don’t have to think about anything. The only thing you think about is your family, getting them over here, getting them with you, training, and becoming a champion.”
