‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers have found that Vinny has been a good friend to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) over the years. Vinny has been seen to support his BFF as best as possible while being a sounding board and voice of reason when Thomas veered too far off the rails.
Sure, the guy is no saint, his drug dealing landed his BFF’s sister, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) hooked on painkillers, but that was an accidental side effect of trying to help out his long-time crush.
However, head B&B writer, Bradley Bell is warning us there may be a darker side to Vinny than what we’ve seen so far.

It’s been long rumored that a DNA test switch may happen as Steffy looks for answers as to who fathered her baby, beau John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) or never-far-out-of-the-picture ex, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Now it looks like the tampering finger is being pointed at Vinny!
Vinny? Why? I’m glad you asked. The answer is two-fold.
Thomas is being a little saner than usual and feeling guilt over being the catalyst behind Liam believing his wife Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) was cheating, and therefore running into the arms, and bed of Steffy.
Of course, Liam knew Thomas had a Hope Doll in his possession, but you know, the conclusion was jumped and everyone seems to be blaming everyone else (here’s looking at you Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang)
Vinny’s dropped some not so subtle hints last week (and a brazen offer of the same drugs he gave Steffy) reminding Thomas that if the baby turned out to be Liam’s, Hope and Thomas might just have another chance. Crazier things have happened (refer back to the existence of a Hope Doll).
This would make Vinny’s BFF happy, but what would Vinny get out of it? Steffy.
In Vinny’s mind there is no way Finn will stay with Steffy if Liam is the baby’s father. I don’t know what he plans to do with Liam, but you can bet Vinny would be at the ready to swoop in and be a shoulder to cry on for his crush if she suddenly found herself all alone and pregnant .
Up until this new theory, hinted at quite strongly by Bell himself, viewers had speculated that Liam would be the bio dad and Finn would have a hand in getting the results changed so he looks to be the real father. Now, things are looking to be turned on their head!
True or not, Bell did confirm that the paternity issue wont all be resolved right away, but brought back up in later story lines that promise to be a bombshell for the Spencer, Forrester, and Logan families!
