‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) had an unhealthy obsession with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) for years. He returned from New York with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) following Caroline Spencer’s (Linsey Godfrey) death and targeted Hope as Douglas’ replacement mother.
The intention to find a woman who would be a good mother to Douglas was a pure narcissist play. But as time passed, it became obvious Thomas used his son to maintain access to Hope.

We are a long way from Thomas ordering a mannequin that resembled Hope. That horror show-like storyline led Thomas to form a relationship with the plastic version of Hope in his mind.
Viewers who watched B&B during that point in the plot will never be able to unsee Thomas kissing the mannequin or fully push its synthesized voice out of their minds—resonating kudos to Noelle for playing that dual role, as she was tasked with becoming the mannequin in certain scenes and killed in them.
To think that Thomas came through that and has Hope’s forgiveness for him withholding that Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) had not died is fully incredible. Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) objections to Thomas can not be logically challenged on both points and others.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Hope Spencer Goes Beyond Logic
No one spoke more harshly to Thomas than Hope. His turn to redemption happened because Hope lambasted him at Forrester Creations after she learned that he had framed her mother, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Thomas’ claim that Brooke had reported him to the California authorities for endangering Douglas was accepted by Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). That caused Ridge to break from Brooke. Hope was furious when she learned Thomas set her mother up and told him she would not work with him or be involved on what was then a co-parenting level.
Digitally skipping back to today, Hope believes Thomas has demonstrated remorse and is a better man. That determination allowed her to see Thomas in a way she had not before.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Can Not Create Doubts
The Thomas character has a history of mental instability that predates the current recast. Atkinson’s edition is in the best position he has been in since returning with Douglas to Los Angeles, California.
Clifton’s character has become the villain, swapping positions with Thomas. Hope distrusts Liam and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) recognized his misguided romantic intentions.
So, having finally achieved respect, Thomas needs to maintain course, and he will probably realize a long-term relationship with Hope. Douglas’ hope that his dad and Hope will marry is no longer far-fetched. But this is Thomas, so no one should bet that marriage is a certainty on B&B.
