‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that theme song, along with glamor shots of the cast–both bold and beautiful–is synonymous with the hit soap. However, not-so-newcomer, Krista Allen (Taylor Hayes) has found it a little difficult to find a spot in the opening credits, despite first appearing as nuTaylor since December last year.

Finally, however, the 51 year old actress is celebrating making it into the opening credits. We can’t imagine Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Long) will be very happy with the new permanence this suggests!

Posting on both Instagram and Twitter, Allen revealed she was about to shoot her stills for the opening credits. When asked why it has taken so long for the show to include the new fan favorite (especially when it is still showing shots of both Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton) and Katrina Bowden (Flo Logan) who haven’t been seen on for about 100 years), Allen responded with surprising news.

This was not the first shoot she has done for the opening credits. In fact it’s not even the second time her glamor shot has been snapped. Allen’s most recent session is the third attempt at being included in the soap’s opener.

She further explained to inquisitive fans that the first shoot was deemed unsuitable for the same reasons fans had some mixed reactions to Allen’s first appearance as the legacy character.

“The damn wig ate my face and I looked like a homeless sheepdog,” Allen kidded.

The second attempt didn’t end much better.

“We had tech/lighting issues and lost most of the shots,” Allen explained, “… so … FriYAY we get round 3!”

The successful shoot finally took place on Friday, June 3, only 7 days shy of Allen’s six month anniversary with the soap. Oh, and incidentally, on June 6 2022, B&B celebrated 32 years of Taylor Hayes (then played by Hunter Tylo) coming into our lives.

Seems fitting we see her back in the opening credits, don’t you think?

The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS
