‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that things might soon take a turn for the worse for Liam Spencer, who has had one hell of a year so far. Just when things couldn’t get any worse for him, it looks like his marriage might be at risk once again. That, and he is going to have a very hard time juggling his personal responsibilities with his professional ones. Actor Scott Clifton, who plays Liam on the hit CBS soap, fills us in on what fans can expect from his character in the coming weeks.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Liam is going to be at a crossroads, so to speak. While things are looking pretty good for him over at Spencer Publications, his marriage to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is going to suffer. If that weren’t enough, he’s also got a full plate with his two daughters. That’s something Hope hasn’t taken into consideration during her quest to adopt young Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) and bring him into their family.

Scott tells the publication, “Yeah, this is a gray area. Liam said on the show he is getting spread pretty thin. Now we are in this sort of murky, ambiguous gray area where Hope and Thomas are sharing custody of Douglas. The problem with that… I mean, sometimes be careful what you wish for, right? Liam didn’t want Hope to have full custody because it would have been too much because that would have made him sort of a permanent kind of father figure for Douglas, and he isn’t ready for that.”
For Liam, this is just a situation that he simply doesn’t want to be in, as that means Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is going to be in his life forever. As much as he wants what’s best for Douglas, he has to worry about his own life and his family, too!
