‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers appreciate how difficult it is to continually put on a show and keep the content fresh and engaging five days a week, fifty-two weeks a year.

It’s a daunting task that would leave many shaking in their boots, but it’s also opened the door for repetitive storylines and regular borrowing from other shows.

It makes sense given one, ‘Days of Our Lives’ shoots roughly six months ahead and cast and crew most likely talk as they work on different shows or just in general, and the same with other shows.

But one thing that’s always important is the pacing and engaging storylines, and for ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers that’s something this show often lacks.

A few years ago, it was Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) talking about her and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) being destiny, and now it’s Ridge about his father’s illness, which makes sense.

But then there’s Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) doing it about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). It gets old.

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers – So much filler

One of the arguments that’s made about shows being made today only having ten or so episodes if they’re cutting out the filler. From our perspective, most shows didn’t have a lot of filler, but that also varied from show to show.

In the end, it’s about telling a story.

Twenty plus years ago and entire season didn’t follow a single storyline as each episode would be different, so it may be the more linear way of telling stories that has led to the new style.

But ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ takes it to another level as we can spend up to two weeks in the same scene, often repeating the same dialogue we’ve heard in each previous episode between the same two people.

It’s frustrating and really slows the pace down to the point it seems like one week could be a single episode.

‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers – Quantity over quality?

To be fair, it’s a very old school approach, but even years ago there wasn’t so much repetitiveness happening, and it’s made other shows like ‘Days of Our Lives’ and ‘General Hospital’ more appealing if only for a brief change of pace.

Of course, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers always return, but we’d love to see some less filler, and with each episode being half an hour, the repetitiveness is more obvious as they drag out a storyline.

Even when there’s good pacing, the dialogue can drag it out almost like it’s being run in real time and people don’t have a lot to say to each other.

It can be frustrating, but it also seems to work for the show.

Do you think they need to cut back the dialogue filler and increase the pace? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
