CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that given the fact that we saw this episode just under a month ago and covered it here, we are feeling like we’ve gotten sucked into a bad storyline version of déjà vu, but we didn’t, so here we go back to January 6, 2003.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers Throwback For July 6: Friendly competition, round 2
Nothing like a friendly competition to help keep one distracted, and that’s exactly what happened when Eric Forrester (John McCook) and his son, Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss), faced off in Portofino, Italy for the Portofino Challenge. Eric manned the helm of Forrester Creations while Ridge designed for Spectra Fashions. It was a pretty cool moment, but Ridge knew he was in over his head when Spectra’s presentation lacked that something special, but it didn’t deter him from trying his best.

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers Throwback For July 6: Eric and Ridge’s Fashion Competition
They had a pretty good sized crowd with some familiar faces present, including Bridget Forrester (Jennifer Finnegan), Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley), Massimo Marone (Joe Mascolo), and Darla Forrester (Schae Harrison) waiting to see who would come out the winner. To add some more spice to it, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and Clarke Garrison (Dan McVicar) emceed the event. Saying it was one big happy event may be overdoing it as everyone has a healthy competitive bone to some extent, and coming out on top of any competition like this. The winner wasn’t quote decided until Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) appeared in the showstopper, and being brought to the competition by way of a boat on the Ligurian Sea.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers Throwback For July 6: Not quite what we were expecting
With this week being called Classic Confrontation Week, this feels a bit off to CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers. While it was in the top five of the Fans Choice Week, we find it hard to see how this is one of the show’s top confrontations given what we’ve seen the last few weeks and the fact the show’s lasted for 33 years.
This feels partly like a placation attempt but also a “we’ll show what we want” type of message for those of us that would like to see different episodes and have clamored for older classics to be shown. Sure, the CBS.com website has all but a few seasons on it for us to watch, so it shows they were listening to us to some degree, so maybe there’s hope? At least the week’s off to a good start. What are your thoughts on the episode? Would you like to see Ridge and Eric give their competition another go?
