CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers say that a star of the show might have been the inspiration behind the idea to use blow-up dolls in romance scenes for upcoming episodes of the hit CBS soap. Here’s what you need to know!
In a new interview with The Roe Conn Show on Chicago’s WGN Radio 720, ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ producer Casey Kasprzyk opened up about how the idea of using blow-up dolls came to fruition. This comes after executive producer Brad Bell confirmed that blow-up dolls will be used in future episodes to avoid having actors touch each other, but still, keep the passion and romance alive for our favorite characters in this fictional town of Los Angeles.

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Producer Hints Hunter Tylo Wax Doll Might Have Been B&B’s Blow Up Doll Inspiration
Kasprzyk hinted that a Hunter Tylo (Taylor Hayes) wax doll might have been the inspiration for this idea. He explained, “ This isn’t the first time that we’ve used them, either. Probably about 15 years ago, when a character came back from the dead, it was revealed that they actually buried a wax figure of this person. So, when they dug up the coffin, there was Taylor as a wax figure. So we only needed that for a few episodes, but we’ve kept that doll in pristine condition in a coffin in our prop storage.”
He added, “And when we were realizing, ‘Hey, how are we going to keep the romance alive? How are we going to do this?’ I went in, got the doll, took some pictures with her. And our executive producer/head writer, Brad Bell, loved the idea, but he took it one step further and he went on record in an interview that we will be using blow-up dolls or sex dolls.”
And there you have it, folks. New B&B episodes – with the blow-up dolls – are expected to air mid-July. ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ airs weekdays on the CBS network.
