‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) is falling in love with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman). Viewers likely find this new pairing likable while recently seeing that its future might not be as rosy as it initially seemed.
Enter Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz), stage left, into the Forrester design room setting. He set his eyes on Luna, who he knows is RJ’s new love, because Hoffman is wrongly perceived to have been given preferential family treatment.
The grievance Zende has is not illogical. He sees that RJ was chosen by Eric Forrester (John McCook), who is both young men’s grandfather, to be his lead designer. That might be okay if RJ had a degree in design and years of experience, but that background is not part of his resume. Instead, Zende believes Eric picked RJ because he is Ridge’s son.

Arriving in Los Angeles, California, and becoming an intern felt right. Luna has always loved fashion, pursued schooling based on that passion, and was fortunate to have met Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis).
As viewers recall, Luna’s chance meeting with Donna enabled her to become Forrester Creations’ newest intern without being properly vetted. Yes, that still happens in our modern world and this soapy one.
Yet, Luna’s entrance into FC and RJ’s life is not the source of conflict. Her mother’s relationship with Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) is a problem that was established to create the first personal source of conflict.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Zende Forrester Dominguez’ Character Turn
Zende, who is Kristen Forrester’s adopted son, is not reintroduced as a bad guy. Instead, de Metz’ edition of this character has projected family loyalty, including his admiration for Eric. Fans have not seen Zende in recent months, as the potential for romance with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) faded.
So, the creation of Luna and her immediate link to RJ, Zende’s cousin, presented the type of triangle daytime often uses. In this instance, Zende’s single status and belief that Eric spurned him due to favoritism is the rub.
RJ is one of the people who has been allowed to know about Eric’s terminal illness, which should reinforce Zende’s feeling that he is an outsider within his family. It will be interesting to see how Zende approaches his seeming intention of disrupting RJ’s love life when combined with his eventually assumed awareness of Eric’s diagnosis.

One of the first pointed comments RJ made when coming back home was his determination not to be involved in family drama. All involved characters and the audience familiar with their famous lives knew that would not be possible.
Months later, RJ finds himself tasked with keeping Eric’s health information secret. That burden may prevent RJ from realizing that Zende intends to destabilize his cousin’s life on B&B.
