‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) rejected his wife months ago.
As has been his longstanding pattern, he turned to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on more than one occasion. But she rejected him as well.
The character Clifton plays is used to being the rotating center of Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Steffy’s attention.
He is used to having one or both ladies doting on him. But their joint acceptance of his whimsical behavior ended, and he is not handling it well.

The cabin Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) allowed her daughter and Liam to live in while they were married was an idyllic setting. All had been well between the happy couple prior to the fashion event in Rome, Italy.
However, Liam sensed a storm coming and told Hope as much. She was initially annoyed by his suspicions of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) but eventually became angry.
Hope rightly identified Liam’s hypocrisy because she had so often forgiven his indiscretions. Clifton’s character refused to acknowledge that reality and warned Hope to allow Thomas to be with her in Rome. But that trip proved fatal to their marriage.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Finnegan Is Happy
It would not be fair to claim that Liam wants Steffy to be unhappy and then return to him as a default. Instead, Liam honestly believes that John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is not the right man for her.
Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is a real threat. While she has not done anything since Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) called in a favor from a friendly judge, Liam believes Steffy and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras Mckinlay) are in danger as long as she is connected to Finn.
However, Steffy does not share Liam’s fear. Her return from Europe with her children enforces that point.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Liam Spencer Involved In Counterproductive Efforts
Being Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) son involves a lot of baggage. Some of that includes being influenced by the Dollar Bill persona.
Liam recently commiserated with his dad, with both characters agreeing that Thomas was not right for Hope. That gave Liam license to undermine Atkinson’s character, with memories of all Thomas did to him fueling future revenge considerations.
On the other front, Finn remains Liam’s alternate target. He is hoping that either Hope or Steffy eventually realizes his position and reunite with him. Either outcome is not close to happening, which means that Liam will likely give into his darker side as he attempts to engineer the results he wants on B&B.
