‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers show that after failing to provoke Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) into a misstep, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) may be contemplating a backup plan.
During their recent confrontation at Il Giardino, Li went to great lengths to push Sheila’s buttons, even resorting to shoving her face into a pasta dish. Although Sheila was sorely tempted to retaliate with severe consequences, she managed to maintain her composure.
Sheila made it abundantly clear that she had no intention of being lured into actions that would send her back to prison. Nevertheless, Li could be plotting an alternative strategy to see Sheila incarcerated once again.
Given that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) hasn’t been successful in removing Sheila from the picture, Li might decide that this is a situation where her motherly instincts should prevail.
This, of course, refers to the adoptive mother who raised Finn, rather than his conniving biological mother. Li believes she’s the only mother who truly matters, and may be determined to safeguard Finn’s marriage to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) by any means necessary.

If Li can’t push Sheila to cross the line, perhaps she’ll resort to orchestrating Sheila’s involvement in criminal activities. Li might consider framing Sheila for a new offense, with the hope of ensuring that she remains in prison for an extended period this time.
Li may concoct fabricated evidence against Sheila, possibly enlisting the help of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) given their prior connection. Bill has debts to repay for his failed attempt to have Sheila incarcerated for life.
In any case, Li is desperate to eliminate Sheila and might not hesitate to set her up, even if it means falsely incriminating her. As long as it culminates in Sheila’s arrest and a return to jail, Li would consider it a successful outcome.
The extent to which Li is willing to go to secure Sheila’s imprisonment remains to be seen. Whether Sheila falls into a trap and faces charges for a crime she didn’t commit is a question that adds an element of suspense to the storyline.
