‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers show that Tanner Novlan is well known for his role as Finn Finnegan on the show, as well as his fantastic relationship with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and their wonderful family.
While his on-screen connection is one that many people aspire to, his genuine relationship with Kayla Ewell (Ex-Caitlin) grew from a music video to a marriage and a great family. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Ewell commented, “it is the sexist thing to watch Tanner be the best dad ever.”

They met on the set of a music video for the Australian band Sick Puppies in 2009, four years after she left The Bold and the Beautiful and a decade before he began his tenure on the show. She misplaced her sunglasses, and Novlan made sure she got them back over lunch, which sparked their romance.
Poppy Marie and Jones Douglas are their two children. They also reconnected on camera in 2021 during a proposal scene between his character Finn and Steffy, when there were still COVID restrictions. While we still like Finn and Steffy, we’d like to see them together on TV again. We saw a number of spouses fill in during the COVID-19 restrictions, and it could be fun to invite some of them back now and again.
I’m sure fans would love to see Kayla Ewell return to the show in some form, and if she was somehow tied to Finn, that might make for some interesting storylines. It would certainly add to the drama between him and Steffy and provide us with something to watch that isn’t centered on Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen)!
