‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that getting dirt on a shady character might be satisfying. But gossip might only alter a known villain’s life with hard evidence.
Enter Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) into John Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) office. Thomas did not stop by to rehash the great times he shared with his brother-in-law during Christmas and New Year’s.
Instead, Finn was warned to stay out of Thomas’ life. That was a telling and quick decision. Thomas knows he is at least partially responsible for Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) death and wants to block any soapy red flags from being raised.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Xander Avant Was Not An Eyewitness
Xander Avant’s (Adain Bradley) return to Los Angeles, California, involves wanting health care in the United States. Viewers can only speculate on that answer at this point in the plot.
Thomas may have received justice long ago if Xander had been with Emma when she was furiously attempting to tell Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) that her daughter was alive. But he was at Forrester Creations when Emma sped out of the parking lot, and Thomas followed her.
Not being an eyewitness meant that Xander was purely guessing when telling the authorities Thomas killed Emma. So, Bradley’s claim to Finn, as was valid to the police, represents words alone.

Finn believes Thomas is unstable and dangerous. That means the good doctor believes Thomas is sick.
The unexpected meeting with Xander was an inflection point. The writing staff allowed this part of Thomas’ backstory to remain dormant for years. So, why is it being revisited now?
Hope appeared to be nearing a decision. She was not ready to commit to Thomas but had not pulled away. However, reasonable speculation can be offered about whether or when Hope will become pregnant with Thomas’ child. There will be no break from him if that happens, regardless of whether she believes his claims of innocence regarding Emma’s death.

Let’s assume Finn and Xander combine their efforts and pressure Thomas. They could do that by questioning him or launching an amateur investigation.
Thomas once threatened those in the know to keep their mouths shut about Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) being alive. He can’t use similar pressure against Finn and Xander.
But different tactics could be employed. Xander would be more likely than Finn to be targeted because he is a returned and potentially recurring character, whereas Novlan is a regular cast member. But Thomas must do something to prevent the truth from being told on B&B.
