Executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell tells Soap Opera Digest that it’s not as easy as one would think. He tells the publication in a new interview, “It’s a fight and it’s wearing them down. Ridge is determined to make it work. But he just can’t be married to someone who despises his son because his son is a part of him.”
If that weren’t enough, it also looks like Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), Ridge’s lady that is waiting in the wings, is not going anywhere, anytime soon. For Brooke, this might turn into a huge cat fight between the two women. That’s something that we surely havent’ seen in a very long time, right?
Bell adds, “They will be dealing with that challenge and Shauna’s going to be waiting in the wings. She’s come to town and become fascinated with Ridge and really would love to share her life with him. It’s fun to embark on a new triangle for Brooke and Ridge and to have Denise Richards as Shauna is a real dream come true.”
