‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that if there’s one thing that the producers are very good at, it’s knowing how to capitalize on a controversy! And that’s exactly what they have done once again as there are new reports that say the ‘Peleton Commercial Girl’ will soon be making her way to this fictional town of Los Angeles. According to CBS Soaps in Depth, actress Monica Ruiz, who starred in the commercial, will be guest starring on the hit CBS soap in the coming weeks. As many fans can recall, the Peleton commercial received a lot of backlash from critics who believed that the ad was rather sexist, among other things. In the commercial Monica plays a housewife who received a stationary bike as a gift from her husband and documents her experience using it for an entire year. A lot of critics believes that the ad actually promoted negative stereotypes, while also implying that it’s okay for women to have husbands who want them to lose weight. If that weren’t enough, Monica’s character already looked beautiful and healthy enough in the commercial.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Comings and Goings: Peleton Actress Joins The Cast
Now, as far as Monica’s role on ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ is concerned, we do know that she is going to play a Forrester model in an upcoming episode. She is also scheduled to tape her episode on December 17th, which means that her episode will air sometime in January. We will definitely keep you posted with more information as it comes in. So far Monica Ruiz herself hasn’t made any comments about the role, but it’s without a doubt that she is very excited!
