Katie Thurston pulled out all the stops to check out if new arrival Blake Moynes had any potential, and by the looks of it, he could do well on the show.

Blake, for his part, was the new arrival that threatened to throw a spanner in the works. Upon arrival, Katie made it known immediately that she would send him home if she could not see any potential straight away.
Once inside, Blake confessed that he had never come across someone like Katie which ended up with him receiving a one-on-one date. As events would transpire, the two got on very well. During their time horse riding together, the duo discussed many things they had in common.
One of the interests was their love for sex. Katie opened up on how she values the importance of it, given that she admitted to being a victim of sexual assault in the past. And by the conclusion of the date, Katie hinted that Blake might be one for the long haul.
It was all topped off as Katie rewarded Blake for his efforts with a rose. Despite the positive signs, Blake will have a lot of competition on his hands. Katie has struck up a close bond with some of the other contestants too. Take, for example, Andrew Spencer.
During their date, they were very open about each other’s lives. Andrew revealed how he had to adjust during his childhood to the fact that his father was not around. This allowed the two to connect on a more emotional level, with Katie even being open to the idea of having kids with Andrew.
While there was some progress, Katie did confirm that she was unaware as to the struggles that black men often go through. Having said all that, she stated how she would be willing and able to learn about such things if they ever got into a relationship.
Katie is certainly not short of choice, but whether she is able to find someone on her wavelength is anyone’s guess. But given what we have seen so far, there is every chance that the show could have a successful ending.
