‘The Bachelor’ has had it’s share of leads who didn’t quite live up to expectations but Juan Pablo Galavis has gone down in history as arguably the worst.
It has been a while since anyone has heard from Juan Pablo, but this past week the Venezuelan native let Bachelor Nation know “Eeees okay”, sharing a surprising selfie with ex, Nikki Ferrell.

It has been a hot minute- seven years in fact, since the pro soccer player publicly declared his love ‘lots of like’ for pediatric nurse Nikki Ferrell and 6 years and 5 months since they split. Now the two are reunited as Juan Pablo and Nikki had the chance to catch up in Nikki’s hometown last Friday
“GREAT 7 years of CATCHING up @nikki_ferrell ?,” the 40 year old captioned the Instagram post of the casual and smiley pair, sharing a cup of ice cream with two spoons.
It’s nice to see the pair on good terms after their volatile relationship that was readdressed on VH1’s Couple’s Therapy where the same issues that began on The Bachelor were continuing to plague the relationship- Juan Pablo wouldn’t tell Nikki he loved her.
After the pair finally split, Nikki addressed the break-up. Speaking with ex-host, Chris Harrison she said, “It’s not from a lack of trying on either side. I tried really hard and he tried too. I wasn’t going to quit. I’m not a quitter. I tried everything, he tried, too. It wasn’t just a one-side thing … we real-life tried, not TV-tried.”
She also went on to say his Mimi lifestyle and work in the entertainment industry just didn’t gel well with her quiet Kansas life. “It was really hard for me to fit into that. At the end of the day, we gave it a go but we’re just two different people.”
Galavis later married model, Osmariel Villalobos in 2017 but they divorced after just two years of marriage. Nikki married Tyler VanLoo in 2016. After a rough patch that saw them briefly split in in 2018, they managed to work it out and are still together today.
