Ashley Spivey, best known for her time on The Bachelor, has tragically announced another miscarriage only five months after her last one.

The star has been very vocal about her fertility problems, which is why she has decided to pursue IVF. And yet, she is having no better luck in that regard. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Ashley shared a picture of the ultrasound scan of what would have been her baby. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Lil’ Blobby tried.
“This obviously is not the outcome me and @shunsy14 wanted. This feels like a particularly cruel turn of events.” However, things looked to be going great at one point. She had announced just last month that she was expecting. And by all accounts, her pregnancy was going ahead just fine.
She could have chosen to keep things hidden until the actual birth, Ashley could not contain her excitement by announcing it. Although it has ended in a sad manner, she does not regret expressing her previous happiness. She added: “I don’t regret telling everyone early – if anything, this has been the most normal I’ve felt in months.
“If you haven’t been on the receiving end of constant pity while enduring fertility troubles – consider yourself lucky.” There is the question of where does Ashley go from here? Clearly, her mental health is not going to be in a good way. While she has always dreamt of having a child, it is perhaps wise that she takes some time off in order to heal. If she cannot conceive, there are always other options that she could pursue: adoption.
Even though that may not be her primary choice, the next step is crucial. That has not stopped Ashley from looking to the positives, though. She continued: “I have four embabies waiting to hopefully be brought into the world…I have to remain hopeful. I will have a d&c on Thursday and then figure out the next steps.” Let us hope that Ashley can recover from this.
