‘The Bachelor, Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise’ alums, Ashley and Jared have finally announced the wonderful news that they are expecting their first child.
Tying the knot it 2019 after much hesitation from Jared and many, many…many tears from Bachelor Nation’s greatest crier, Ashley, the two have been candid about their road to conceiving.
This week, as the couple were hosting an Amazon Live, Ashley jumped the gun a little and announced she was 10 weeks pregnant. Baby Iaconetti-Haibon is due to arrive in February 2022!

“Jared hasn’t kissed me in a while because I can’t stop throwing up,” Ashley revealed during the Live, opening up about her debilitating and daily morning sickness. “[It’s] been a hard time, guys,” she confided in her fans.
It was less than three months ago that Ashley shared her fears about being unable to conceive a child, explaining, “We’ve been trying to conceive for 6 months/cycles now. A couple months ago, I was saying I would start feeling worried if I wasn’t pregnant by June,” Ashely wrote on Instagram, although she and Jared never “struggled to conceive.”
It seems like her fears were all for naught as she was likely already pregnant or conceived that night!
Ashley and Jared are one of the most famous of Bachelor Nation’s success stories. While it was love at first sight for Ashley when the pair met on Bachelor in Paradise season 2 in 2015, Haibon couldn’t say the same.
The following summer, things between the duo looked to be even worse for Ashley’s dreams of being with Jared as they shot season 3 of Paradise. Fans were shocked when they learned the pair finally got together off-screen, officially beginning dating in May 2018.
This story may give the new set of Paradise castaways hope if they didn’t find love the first time around on the Mexican beach…we will be able to find out when Bachelor in Paradise premiers on ABC on August 16.
