    First off, we know she’s got bad taste in men. Wilson (José Restrepo) is far from a pick. And he’s not showing himself to be any real help to Mariana. Well, other than bringing her something to tame her drug cravings. But we see why she might be keeping him around.

    Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate she stole some drugs from his bag. She, of course, used them and then lied about it when he mentioned some missing product. Now, we’ve already seen him get violent with her once. Plus, he held her hostage for money. Those drugs were a way for him to pay off his debt to Jorge Camacho (Luciano D’Alessandro). If he learns Mariana stole them, he’ll be furious.

    As he’s already shown he’s violent, we can just imagine the ways he’d make her pay for that. And none of them are good. We’re guessing she won’t be long for this show if she keeps that behavior up.

    In addition, she’s messing up another way. Following her recent troubles, she’d been kicked out of school. She was about to be reinstated, but she missed her appointment. Because she was feeling the effects of the drugs she took. The dean didn’t take well to her being two hours late, and gave her an earful. Basically, she’s not likely to be welcomed back with open arms. And she definitely won’t get reinstated if she another appointment. So, why is she doing all of this?

    We think Mariana has a lot of issues. Mostly stemming from the loss of her parents. While Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate Amalia Ortega (Majida Issa) used this tragedy to inspire her to help others and fight for justice. For Mariana, it seems to have made her want to escape. And we think it’s only gotten worse since the Jorge incident. She tried to kill herself via OD before. We have a feeling she’s found a new way to do away with herself. And if Wilson doesn’t kill her for stealing, then she’ll be academically and professionally dead. Either way, this girl seems intent on punishing herself. Can she get it together and dump Wilson? We’ll have to wait and see.
