For the past few episodes, we’ve seen him working with the bad guys under the cover of a Russian Arms dealer. Actually, he’s been working with several different groups in this quest, and things got complicated recently.
Suspicions of a mole put his cover at risk. To keep it, he contacted the DEA and tried to get authorization to provide them with a small shipment of arms. Unfortunately for him, they said no. Seeing the axe coming down, he decided to take matters in his own hands.

To save his skin, he got in touch with Gabriel Pedraza (Mark Tacher) for a favor. He needed any contact Gabriel knew of that could help. Things were looking good. Pedraza’s contact, Rene (Michelle Manterola), approached Jones and promised her assistance.
However, there was a hitch. To get weapons as fast as he needs them, a heist had to happen. Jones and some others got fake identification and infiltrated the facility they’re being stored in. Unfortunately, they ended up getting caught and a stand-off ensued. On the luck side, Rene arrived and helped take down the guards so Jones and the rest could finish loading the weapons. But all this effort might not have been enough.

So, you have to give it to Jones. Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate he’s a great actor. He’s pulled off this con for quite some time. When he met with the bad guys to make the sale, he was in full character. Jones almost got away with it, but El Copete (Óscar Borda) was also at the meet. He recognized Jones from when Jones, Amalia, and the others were on a mission. He called Jones out as DEA and when we left off, Jones had a bunch of guns on him. So, what might be next?

We’re about 90% convinced tonight will see the end of Jones. He’s way outnumbered, and there are too many weapons at his head. As we mentioned, a mole was already suspected so they will likely be trigger happy on this.
However, we can’t count out a chance of a save. First off, we’ve already seen him work a con before. It’s possible he’ll find a way to shift blame. There’s another possibility. Jones can’t survive long in this job without smarts. He could have people backing him up that will storm the place. We’d like to see a victory after all the setbacks, but we’re not counting on it.
