First of all, the show hasn’t exactly run on schedule. Thanks to multiple Monday Coronavirus specials, and another interruption or two, we’re behind where we should be in this series. That was no more evident than on Friday. We’ll get to that later. For now, Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate we’ll get a new episode tonight, and it should be on the rest of this week.
What that means for the series, and the one that will follow, we have no idea. There are three shows set to premiere soon. Our best guess is, we’ll get OP through May. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available. So, what happened Friday?

It was a big day for Amalia and the team. Operación Pacífico spoilers reveal their search is finally over. They now know exactly who Rodolfo “El Guapo” Espinosa Roldán (Julio Bracho) is. He didn’t make it easy. So far, he’s managed to take on several names. But thanks to some new info and the power of technology, they managed to identify El Guapo as Eduardo Sanmiguel.
Who is he? He’s a prominent Mexican businessman who just bought a bank for supposedly altruistic reasons. He even gave a press conference about how much he loves his country, and how him making the purchase is about helping the local economy. Right. Narco novela villanos never do anything without some money laundering or other motive. And he’s no exception. Unfortunately, we think Amalia and Gabriel Pedraza (Mark Tacher) went about things the wrong way.

They made quite the scene at the press conference. These two walked right on in and started asking about his dealings in Colombia. He quickly brushed the questions off, then insisted they’re here to talk about this new deal. We think they overplayed their hand and will make him more cautious now. It also puts them in the spotlight as well, as there were obviously plenty of reporters and cameras around. Not a good look for people who work undercover. But, they might still get victory, and the weekly behind the scenes video shows what goes down tonight. At least, we’re pretty sure it has to be tonight.

Amalia, Gabriel, and Bradley Jones (Klemen Novak) found where he’s staying. Amalia remembered a station Guapo’s mother listened to and used technology to track the signal. They then narrowed down the IP it likely came from and found it was registered to their man. So began a hunt that is going to get ugly tonight.
During their meeting before, Guapo passed himself off as his handicapped brother. During their surveillance, Jones managed to get photos of the real brother in a wheelchair while Guapo was walking around perfectly fine. Only, Jones got caught. Based on the behind the scenes clips, it looks like a big fight will break out, and Guapo’s mom might just fall victim to the attack. Stay tuned, because we’re predicting an escape and a swift, harsh payback.
