Telemundo Operación Pacífico spoilers indicate we’ve lost another character. In an episode where we almost lost Rene (Michelle Manterola) to a hanging, Amalia Ortega (Majida Issa) managed to escape and reunite with Gabriel Pedraza (Mark Tacher), and Bradley Jones (Klemen Novak) rescued Rene with a bomb vest, there was one person that wasn’t so lucky. And it just added to the good news for us viewers. Here’s what you need to know.

First off, we have to give it to Wilson Arias (José Restrepo). This guy’s persistent, if not completely stupid. He’s also not much of a catch. He’s an addict who happily shares with Mariana, despite her desire to clean up. And even after she disappeared to detox, making it clear she wanted nothing to do with him, he wouldn’t back down. As soon as he learned Mariana was at his brother-in-law’s, Alejandro Maldonado (Luigi Aycardi) house, he hurried over to try to win her back. It didn’t go over well. But he made a huge mistake as well.
Another character, Joaquin Bernal (Alberto Agnesi), happened to see an argument between the pair and broke them up. He made it clear to Wilson the lady wants to be left alone, but Wilson wouldn’t take “no” for an answer. That led to his second mistake. Joaquin witnessed him trying to get Mariana to shoot up. Seeing how defensive Joaquin was of her, we figured this wouldn’t go well for Wilson.

As if to compound his stupid, Wilson decided to stick around the house after all this. Then, he shot up at the pool and actually laid on the top step while he enjoyed the effects of his drug. That was a horrible move. He didn’t need to accidentally fall in the water or something to have this particular trip end very badly. That’s what Joaquin was for.
It seems he took a lot of offense to what happened earlier and decided to get this guy out of the way. We aren’t sure, but it looked like he injected air into a vein while Wilson wasn’t exactly in a condition to resist, although it’s possible there was enough drug left over to render him helpless. Anyway, after the injection, he turned Wilson over on the step to let him drown.

Telemundo Operación Pacífico Spoilers: Mariana, beware!
Sadly for Mariana, Joaquin seems into her. And he really chatted her up in an attempt to keep her from discovering what happened. As far as she knows, Wilson left the night before. Mariana has no idea what she’s getting into if she hooks up with this guy. He’s not only a murderer now, but a dealer. Not a great match for a girl trying to clean up. We’re predicting she’ll fall under his spell anyway and end up even worse off. And she’ll probably have to be rescued by Amalia.
As for Alejandro, who had to handle getting rid of Wilson’s body while Mariana was distracted? We sense a lot of trouble coming his way as well. If push comes to shove, Jaoquin will end up having him take the blame. And if he gets a guilty conscience and wants to admit to what he believes was an accidental death on his property? He might just disappear…
