Telemundo La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Teresa Mendoza (Kate Del Castillo) managed to survive the rescue attempt as well as a wild ride. However, her escape isn’t over yet. Meanwhile, let’s talk about Sofia Dantes (Isabella Sierra) and what’s up next.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Returns

First, we loved seeing several characters come back. For example, Rocío Aljarafe (Sara Vidorreta) and Faustino Sánchez Godoy (Lincoln Palomeque). They’re now living in Colombia and working alongside Sheila (Cuca Escribano) and César “Batman” Güemes (Alejandro Calva).

We’re not sure if Faustino has gotten into things slightly more legit or not, but it was nice to see them all together. And we got a kick out of Batman complaining about how boring it is there. We believe it’s only a matter of time before this group is reunited with Teresa. Especially after what happened last time.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Traps

In other La Reina del Sur spoilers, we also enjoyed the bit of a mis-direction that happened. See, when a man at the ticket counter got on the phone to discuss Sofia, it seemed as though she was once again in the sights of Teresa’s enemies. Instead, Sofia just happened to have to bad luck to be targeted by thieves.

She once more proved she’s Teresa’s daughter with the fight she put up, but a strange guy about her age jumped into the fray to help. We’re curious to see where this goes, as well as whether or not Sofia will get where she’s going.

If she doesn’t get the chance to call her half-sister soon, we imagine the bunch in Colombia will start reaching out to others from the past. Which could lead them to learn about Teresa’s escape and bring them all into the larger issue. That brings us to what’s next.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Reunited

As you might know, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Teresa was forced out of hiding last season to help get Epifanio Vargas (Humberto Zurita) elected president back in her home country. Now, she’s going to have to deal with him again, as he was the mastermind behind her escape.

What’s he want? He’s looking for her to help take on the ringleaders of the DEA. They’d changed his mind on putting him in office last season and tried to kill him. And it seems they haven’t stopped since. Given what we saw in some of the teaser trailers and what Teresa has been through the past few years, we think this is something she’ll be up for.
