La Doña spoilers for January 28th indicate a major development. After several episodes of being MIA, Mónica Hernández (Danna Paola) is now back with Altagracia Sandoval (Aracely Arámbula). But how long will that last? And more importantly, can our Doña trust her man? Here’s what you need to know.

Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Rescue mission

Altagracia managed to get a locale out of Mauricio Preciado (Alberto Casanova) last night, which she immediately acted on. Having proven himself trustworthy, she wanted León Contreras (Carlos Ponce) on this mission as well. Together with him, Noelia (Paola Fernández), and Matamoros (Aquiles Cervantes), they got into the kidnappers’ hideout. They just managed to escape with Mónica, but that doesn’t mean the problems are over.

One, we think this is going to drive a larger wedge between León and his wife. She’s not happy he left town to help Altagracia protect Mónica as they find a safe place to hide. With the tension already between them, this was the last thing that marriage needed, but León proves himself to be a dedicated good guy. He can’t leave Mónica in possible danger, and we love that about him. Mónica’s liberation isn’t Altagracia’s only victory.

    Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Busted

Through this whole mess, she also learned Braulio Padilla (José María Galeano) is alive and well. Once they were settled in Rio de Janeiro (and she likely recovered from the adrenaline and sedatives the kidnappers fed her), Mónica dropped the bomb. Altagracia was shocked to know her ally-turned-nemesis is not only alive, but behind Mónica’s kidnapping. La Doña spoilers say he even beat her, which you know is making Altagracia see red.

Knowing this, she’s on high alert, and so is León. Altagracia won’t rest until she knows Braulio is locked up where he belongs. She’s convinced it’s the only way Mónica can be safe. But is she missing something key?

Telemundo La Doña Spoilers: Not trustworthy?

We’ve had a weird vibe about Thiago (Leandro Lima). Ever since he struck a deal to get Altagracia some extra cash, we’ve had out eyes on him. On the surface, he seems devoted to Altagracia. However, he did neglect to tell certain details about the deal he cut. He also acted a bit off last night. La Doña spoilers indicate he didn’t let his guard down around León, even after Altagracia vouched for him. Thiago also gave a lot of attitude when León expressed concern about Altagracia and Mónica’s safety. Thiago’s guys didn’t seem all that impressive, and they didn’t appear to have real experience with security, nor sufficient weapons. Is this just macho pride getting in the way, or is he actually working against her? Whichever option, we see him causing disaster.
