La Doña spoilers indicate there’s lots of drama and tragedy in season 2 already. Only three episodes into the season, we saw a death, a kidnapping, and the arrest of our protagonist. The stakes have never been higher for Altagracia Sandoval (Aracely Arambula). Here’s what you need to know.

    La Doña spoilers: The beginning

Things began with a crazy scene where a woman runs through the woods and eventually gets shot in the neck. It’s the M.O. of a group called the Rainbow killers who hunt their victims and blast them with paintballs before going in for a kill blow. Apparently, it’s been going on for the two years that passed in show time.

Saúl Aguirre (David Chocarro) and Mónica Hernández (Danna Paola) were investigating the case. Saúl in particular got contacted by a hacker Noelia Molina (Paola Fernández). She’s the sister of the Rainbow killer’s first victim, and she had a lot of information about the case. Things the cops either accidently, or purposefully missed. This seemed to prove deadly for Saúl, who was found in the woods in a similar state of the other victims. However, we have our doubts.

    La Doña spoilers: Problems

The second episode of the season brought some questions about Saúl’s case. La Doña spoilers reveal Saúl was hit at close range with the paintballs, something that didn’t happen with the others. His throat was also slit, another deviation from the other victims. So, if it’s not the Rainbows, who might it be?

    La Doña spoilers: Desaparecida

Devastated by Saúl’s death, Mónica went on the attack. Saúl’s case is closed now, as they “caught” the killer, who happened to commit suicide. The only problem is, the hacker sent Mónica proof this guy had an injury too severe to chase down and attack women. When the news about Saúl’s case broke, Mónica stormed outside and told what she knew to the press. That same episode, Regina Sandoval (Andrea Martí) discovered Mónica’s missing. It seems obvious the Rainbows are involved, but the show threw us a curve ball.

La Doña spoilers: The real kidnapper

It’s actually Braulio Padilla (José María Galeano), former right hand to Altagracia. La Doña spoilers reveal he’s angry after how things turned out last season. He teamed up with relatives of Los Monkeys, most of which Altagracia killed.

Mónica, after seeing he’s alive, well, and holding her hostage, demanded to know if he killed Saúl. We think she’s right. What better way to bring Altagracia back to town than this? Altagracia does feel some guilt over giving her up, and didn’t hesitate to run to her side after Saúl’s death. With Mónica now missing as well, we’re sure he’s banking on mistakes on her part.
