La Doña spoilers reveal the popular telenovela is about to return. The last we saw Altagracia Sandoval (Aracely Arámbula), she was presumed dead and living in Europe.  The character had crossed over to another Telemundo series, El Señor de los Cielos (Lord of the skies), where she started craving what she lost. Here’s what you need to know.

La Doña spoilers: The return

After a successful season in 2016, fans were clamoring for #LaDoña2. Seriously. The call for another season of the novela began even before the finale aired, and it seems Telemundo was listening—even if it took a while.

It was recently announced the show would get that second season, and fans were on the look out for any info. The first hint as to what’s to come was this Instagram post from Arámbula. The poster says that, “Power has a price, and she will pay dearly.”

La Doña spoilers: The promo

The second hint for fans came in the form of a promo that debuted during the Latin American Music Awards this Thursday. It’s been shared by fans, although a high-quality official version has yet to publish. In the promo, we see the beginnings of a war between Altagracia and her enemies–new and old. We also see what looks like a bit of a reunion between La Doña and her daughter, Mónica Hernández (Danna Paola), as they search for what appears to be Mónica’s missing husband.

There’s also hints that the show hasn’t forgotten how La Doña went out, supposedly dying after escaping the police. It looks like she’s getting taken into custody at one point. We can’t wait to see how one of the more complex characters in the Telemundo world will get out of this one and reclaim her life.

La Doña spoilers: Stay tuned

Keep checking back for more information about La Doña’s second season, season one, and more as information is made available. For now, check out this post on the official Instagram account, hinting that there are a lot of new characters on the way.
