Noah Schnapp found himself in a major funk once he found out that one of his favorite foods, Nutella, was not originally as healthy as he originally thought. It seems that Noah is vegan, and he found out that not only is Nutella’s prime ingredient not hazelnuts, but it also uses palm oil which is responsible for lots of deforestation around the world which is something that Schnapp simply could not support in good conscience.
He also said that the amount of sugar in the product made him realize that he really wasn’t doing himself any favors by consuming the stuff, so now he is touting a vegan alternative that goes by the name TBH.
Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp endorses Nutella alternative?
Schnapp is also hard at work for his future, trying to obtain a degree at the Wharton School of Business with the University of Pennsylvania. Schnapp believes that value-aligned investing is the way of the future and has even helped co-found a Fintech company called Republic, where he has a crowdfunding campaign set up around TBH, his new business venture.
We often hear about kids who grow up in the industry often not doing anything outside of it because they don’t really branch out or know anything else, but it looks like Schnapp is set to diversify his interests already and that can only be a good thing.
He says that he is fond of social networks and gaming, and can see himself launching a venture capital fund in the next year. Should we look for the guy that played Will Byers to give Elon Musk a run for his money? That would be hilarious if that happened, perhaps he could rename it “the upside down”, but we’ll give him awhile yet before that happens.
Perhaps he’ll be able to buy Twitter from Elon at a steal simply because by the time that guy’s done with it, it will need someone from Gen Z to be able to fix what has been broken. Either way, we can’t wait to see what kinds of things that Noah has up his sleeve, we expect great things. Stay tuned!!!
