There really is a sheet over some people’s eyes isn’t there? Stephen Colbert showed a new “skit” that was supposed to mock podcast host Joe Rogan but has just exemplified his message. This comes off the tail end of the Neil Young verse Spotify ordeal, where Young ended up embarrassing himself after Spotify chose Joe Rogan after him.

Young had his music removed (as he requested) and now people are STILL taking shots at Joe Rogan, including late-night shows. Next up is, Colbert vs. Rogan. Round one. Oh no, it’s already over.

First, check out the skit below that nobody saw but those who did are mocking it without hesitation.

    “There’s no Joe Rogan but it’s just as misleading! #Colbert #Comedy #ColdOpens”

There’s no other way to say it. People are pining at the mouth for censorship and are willing to shoot themselves in the foot to get it! The Late Show attempted to mock Rogan, but instead they barely have 39,000 views on the video and the comments are mostly in defense of Joe.

“The late show: where comedy goes to die”, “Thank you for promoting spotify, think ill subscribe to joe rogan now.”, “Head writer: hey guys let’s all just pluck the low hanging comedic fruit today! Other writers: and afterwards let’s all go get another booster, yipeee!”, “The only misinformation here is that Stephen Colbert’s sketches are informative, entertaining or funny.” and “I would wager more misinformation is spread through the late night show, than through Joe Rogan.”

It is simply unfunny, and a poor attempt at taking a shot at Spotify and Rogan. There are reaction videos to this that are getting more views. It’s almost kind of pathetic.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Rogan and are you glad that Spotify stood behind him on this? Let us know in the comments below.
