With the new season of Sister Wives coming to TLC, fans are excited to see more of Christine Brown’s reasoning behind leaving the marriage. In the trailer for the new season, we will see Kody Brown and Christine battling it out over their sex life.
Sister Wives: Kody’s Shrugs Her Off
In the scene, the couple started to discuss their sex life and that is when Christine told Kody that she remembers her saying that their intimate part of marriage was over. He denies ever saying this to her and as they began to argue more and more, he just shrugged his shoulders at her. Christine tells him, “You said that you were not attracted to me.”

We will see Kody talking to the cameras about how he has heard from the other wives that they think Christine is leaving the marriage. He says, “She’s been telling everybody she wants to leave and she’s never told me. She never talked to me about it. So, when she says that she asks me if we’re ever going to be intimate, I’m hearing rumors from everybody that she’s been threatening to leave- I shrugged my shoulders because I’m not going to be fooling around with a woman who’s talking about leaving me.”
Of course, there are two very different sides to this story and Christine told the cameras, “It was one of the most humiliating experiences of my life. I don’t want to be married to a guy who just shrugs his shoulders when I’m asking him if we’re going to have an intimate marriage… bulls**t that.”
Their lack of intimacy seems to have been a big factor in why Christine decided to leave Kody and the marriage. She also pointed out that the way he treated their daughter, Ysabel was another factor. He didn’t come with her to her back surgery in New Jersey when she needed him the most and that broke her heart. Christine felt at that moment that Kody broke his daughter’s heart and she can’t be with a man like that.
We are excited to see what is next for Christine in her new life, but we will be able to catch up with her leaving the marriage on this season of Sister Wives.
