On May 16th, two friends were messaging back and forth about Mint Mobile. One wanted to know how his buddy’s phone bill situation was, wanting to send them a promo code. They went back and forth talking about Mint Mobile and how it was only $30. The message came from Twitter use @johnny_boto.
At the end of the exchange, one of them wrote, “I just realized our text thread looks like a mint commercial. Imma send it to Ryan”. Little did they know that their thread would be used for Reynolds’ next Mint Mobile ad. Take a look at the video by using the link below.

Viewers commented on the ad, “All your ads are so damn good, Ryan ? makes me want to have Mint if I weren’t from Europe”, “Man does he know how to advertise?”, “I hope this comes to Canada soon!! The prices here are crazy!!”, “Come to Canada with Mint Ryan!! We need this!!”, “Y’all are really convincing me to get mint… idk though”, “I got mint mobile and tbh I don’t think I’ll ever switch to anything else” and “$180 a year when you pay in full. Zero problems with Mint. It’s brilliant.”
I use Mint Mobile myself, and in the last year of using it, have never had an issue. You can pay your bill directly from the app and choose from options like 1 month/3 month/6 month/12 month, along with different data ranges and even adding people to your “Mint Family”, making it easy to pay their bill from your account.
